The Tahoe Keys was developed in the late 1960’s with most homes being built from the 1970s to today, and not many vacant buildable lots remain within the development. The average size home is 2500 sqft, with a small lot and water access. Towards the entrance on Tahoe Keys Blvd you’ll find the different condos – each with its own homeowners association, as well as the larger Tahoe Keys Homeowners Association which also covers the houses.

Meyers – South Tahoe Neighborhood
Neighborhood Profile- Meyers
There’s some debate as to whether Meyers is considered a separate town or part of South Lake Tahoe – but no matter what side of the argument you’re on, there’s one fact that everyone agrees on – Meyers is a growing community! Once you come down Echo Summit and land in Lake Tahoe Basin, you’re in Meyers. Now don’t be fooled by the distance on your GPS – Meyers is only 4.2 miles, or 5 minutes from the “Y” (located at the corner of Lake Tahoe Blvd and Highway 50) in the City of South Lake Tahoe.
This community is made up of approximately 475 homes with an average lot size of 6000 sq ft. You’ll find all styles of homes from the classic A-frame to ranchers and newly built mini-mansions. The views that you can get from these properties range from forest, river, mountain ridgelines and golf courses. Meyers also has a number of recreation activities right outside the door including golfing, biking, and hiking, as well as snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter time. A gem of Meyers is the Tahoe Paradise Park which includes Lake Baron – a place where you can spend you summer days in the sun while your family fishes and plays in the water – as well as tennis courts, a playground and Truckee river access. The local elementary school, the Environmental Science Magnet School, is also in high demand with its focus on teaching environmental sciences. You don’t even need to travel far for supplies or night life as there is a wonderful local grocery store as well as numerous great restaurants, and the local bar which hosts live music several nights a week. Meyers has everything that South Lake Tahoe offers in town, but on a smaller scale for those who prefer a more laid back lifestyle.
