Your Recommendations Are Needed for Awards Recipients!
It’s that time of year again to recognize outstanding REALTOR volunteers in our organization. Do you know of someone in your office who has volunteered on committees or serves in a capacity that you feel is noteworthy? If so, please let us know! The Awards Committee values your input and will review any recommendations received in writing prior to Monday, December 10th by 5:00 PM.

SOUTH TAHOE ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® 2012 SPECIAL AWARDS RECOMMENDATION FORM
In an effort to foster South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® member involvement in the decision making process, we request your input concerning the selection of special awards for member volunteers. We encourage you to submit recommendations for year 2012 nominees for the “REALTOR® of the Year,” “Rookie of the Year,” “Distinguished Service,” and “Community Service” awards.
The awards committee will review all recommendations received in writing. Please complete this form and return it to the STAR office no later than 5:00 p.m., on Monday, December 10th. You may fax it to (530) 541-7011, mail it to 2307 James Ave., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150, email is to STAOR@STAOR.org or drop it by. Please feel free to contact the Association office if you have any questions.
The awards ceremony, along with the installation of Officers and Directors will take place at the Installation & Awards dinner on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Edgewood Tahoe.
The following qualifications should be considered when making your decisions:
REALTOR® OF THE YEAR AWARD CATEGORY
- MUST BE AN ACTIVE REALTOR® IN THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY.
- INVOLVEMENT IN STAR ACTIVITIES (CONTRIBUTION TO COMMITTEES, SPECIAL PROJECTS, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, ETC.)
- EXCELLENT IMAGE OF THE NOMINEE AS VIEWED BY FELLOW REALTORS® AND THE PUBLIC. SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND THE ORDINARY.
- ACTION WHICH REFLECTS CREDIT TO THESOUTH TAHOEASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

- INVOLVEMENT IN STAR ACTIVITIES (CONTRIBUTION ON COMMITTEES, SPECIAL PROJECTS, ETC.) EXCELLENT IMAGE OF THE NOMINEE AS VIEWED BY FELLOW REALTORS® AND THE PUBLIC.

- IMAGE AS VIEWED BY FELLOW STAR MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. “GOOD STANDING” IN ALL AREAS.
- CONTRIBUTION ON LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL LEVELS (LEGISLATIVE ISSUES, POLITICAL INVOLVEMENT,CALIFORNIAASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®).
